Van 10 oktober tot 10 november 2022 stelt NaMe tentoon in de vitrines van Linx+ met een selectie uit de reeks 'U-man'
‘In deze reeks bestudeerde ik intermenselijke relaties waarbinnen we, ondanks dat we in dezelfde fysieke sfeer ten opzichte van elkaar bestaan, onze geest vaak isoleren in onze eigen versies van de realiteit.
De overtuiging van deze eigen waarheid creëert een afstand tussen het zelf en de ander. Versterkt door de hedendaagse vluchtige veelheid aan vormen van communicatie, moeten algoritmes ons helpen om in deze complexiteit te overleven door ons enkel in contact te brengen met de ideeën en plaatjes waar we eigenlijk al van overtuigd zijn.
Hierdoor ontstaan er nieuwe leegten die onze relaties verder ontmantelen...
